I feel his pain

I follow Neil Gaiman's tweets and his blog. He is an amazing writer, seems like a fabulous person, and really lives his life. So when he recently posted the loss of his beloved dog....and I read his blog...it made me not only cry, but think about my own dog. Gomez turned 6 this past December. He is a big, beautiful, healthy boxer....but he isn't immortal. And though I will not let the thought of his mortality overshadow his present, I dread the end.
