You may think me dark and dreary, but my color shines mirror bright. Tinted with silver and blue-flavored highlights, I am the gray of the storm cloud high above your head. My multivariate coloring is not lackluster or negative. I shine with shadows and somber hues, creating mountains and monsters which frolic in the sky. I tease you with dark, mottled textures rife with vivid peeks of glaring white and valleys of shocking blue, and flirt with the warm tenderness of fuzzy flannel. Sometimes I’ll present an intense, wrathful, malevolent façade, full of black edged violence, but I always come back to my soft, velvety grayness. ...Just a short writing assignment I did back in 2008.
